Directory access failure error in 2016b but not in 2018b

I get a Warning: Directory access failure in 2016 but when I do the same operation from the same path in 2018, it proceeds smoothly. Does anything explain this difference?

Hi,

It can be the issue with the pathdef file of your 2016b. There are other reasons too.

Try the solution on your MATLAB 2016b.
