I need to de-noise a non-stationary signal. I prefer to use a manual approach, instead of the function wdenoise.
For signal de-noising through level selection and/or level tresholding is it better to use a classical Discrete Wavelet Transform - implemented through DWT and WAVEDEC - or the Maximum Overlap Discrete Wavelet Trasnform - implemeted through MODWT and MODWTMRA ?
What do you think it's the best approach?
Thanks.
