Manipulate RGB Values for an Image

Hello, I was wondering how I would increase the value of the blue layer of a .jpg. So far, I have only been able to find what those values are, using size(x).

BX = 0.20; %20 percent
IM(:,:,3) = IM(:,:,3) * (1 + BX);
Provided that IM is uint8 dataclass, the limiting to 255 will happen automatically.
