Usage of xticks() when plotting a timetable

Hi,

I am plotting the content of a timetable that contains a variable over a few months. The xtick in automatic mode are set just every 5 days or so but i would like to have a xtick for each day. I understood that the funcion xticks might be helpful but I was wondering if there is a way to obtain a tick for each day without manually specify them.

If your concern about "manually specify[ing] them" is that you don't want to have to type each one, you don't have to type each one.

T = datetime('today');
theWeek = T + days(0:6)
