problem with loading data from excel and format

Hi! i loaded data from excel file. and wanted to save it as mat file. the proble matlab took a long time to save it , and the reson he sve it as long format:

    %9.200000000000001
  10.800000000000001
  11.300000000000001
   9.000000000000000
   9.300000000000001
   9.800000000000001
how could i save it in nrmal format?
