Setting the colorbar ticks

Hey guys!!
I am trying to set specific values to my colorbar but apparently they are not setting in the specific color limits, does anyone know how to fix this?

I think it is better to use the correct number of colors so that the tick align with the colors
map = jet(10);
colormap(map)
colorbar
