SNR_linear=10.^(SNR_dB/10.); i wanna know about this formula, if the value of SNR_dB is (SNR_dB=[20:2:30]) the what is these 10 is represented. is this noise power? if i multiply by 20 at the begining, what it represent?

SNR_linear=10.^(SNR_dB/10.);

i wanna know about this formula, if the value of SNR_dB is (SNR_dB=[20:2:30]) the what is these 10 is represented. is this noise power?
if i multiply by 20 at the begining, what it represent?
