What's the purpose of adding a transfer function after a Integrator block?

Hi, I was reading the demo named 'Train DDPG Agent for Adaptive Cruise Control' in reinforcement learing toolbox. I can't figure out the purpose of adding a transfer function in this example. After the integration, the acceleration is converted into the speed, so what the point of transfer function?
