L beam for topology optimization

Hallo everyone,

I wanted to do topology optimization for a 2D L shaped beam in matlab.

I have the top88 topology optimization code as a reference and I could do optimization for cantilever, MBB and simply supported beams.

Now I wanted to change the design domain to a L shaped beam.

Could some one please help me out, how to change the design domain to a L shaped one?
