I've been trying to track my porfolio's progress manually by downloading historical stock prices for the duration that I own them.
It seemed to be easier to download stock price for single stock if I happen to own them for a particular date.
I think I got things to work mostly but when it comes to Netflix stocks, it won't retrieve the data.
For example:
[temp, status] = urlread(['https://query1.finance.yahoo.com/v7/finance/download/GOOG?'...
'period1=1568592000&period2=1568678400&interval=1d&events=history'],...
'post',{'matlabstockdata@yahoo.com', 'historical stocks'},'Timeout',10);
works great but
[temp, status] = urlread(['https://query1.finance.yahoo.com/v7/finance/download/NFLX?'...
'period1=1568592000&period2=1568678400&interval=1d&events=history'],...
'post',{'matlabstockdata@yahoo.com', 'historical stocks'},'Timeout',10);
does not work.
How can I make this work?

As per my understanding of the question, you are unable to fetch the stock historical price for a few companies like Netflix from Yahoo Finance using urlread. This anamolous behaviour has been observed when using yahoo to fetch the data and the proper usage can be found at hist_stock_data(start_date, end_date, varargin)

The code is from the mentioned function.
When I did the search on that function, I see there are few other posts mentioning the same error.
