How can I run 5G NR Downlink Signal Generator

I'd like to know how to run the image file(5G NR Downlink Signal Generator) that appears in 8 minutes and 30 seconds of the video.

Hi Chanuk,

The application shown in the video is a demo file and is made up using the 5G Toolbox.

To generate the NR-TM or FRC waveforms, you can use the application Wireless Waveform Generator for GUI interface.

To generate 5G waveforms without GUI, you can look after the examples NR Downlink Waveform Generation and NR-TM and FRC waveform generation.

The demo file that is seen in the video is not made available publicly. The interface similar to the demo file, will be accessible through the wireless waveform generator App, which at present, as of 20a, have only presets (i.e., TM and FRC).

I'm sad I can't see the demo file, but I think the wireless waveform generator App will help me.

I hope I can use the demo file in coming releases.

Hi all,

Just to update Sriram's answer, the Wireless Waveform Generator app now (as of R2021a) supports also fully customizable downlink and uplink configurations. So, you will not have the same exact interface as that of the demo shown in the linked video but the same exact capabilities and even more.

If you need anything else that is not available through the app, we are always keen to know your use case so please do let us know!
