Adams-simulink cosimulation error

I am trying to run a simulink model (for which the topology has not changed ) in MATLAB R2019a. The model was previously saved with an old MATLAB version (R2013a.
Whenevr I try to run the model following error appears
'Cannot compile the model. The model topology has been illegally changed since the model entered Restricted mode. Please restore the original model topology, or switch to Full mode'.
Also, I tried saving the model in R2019a version but could not.

Hello Charles,
I understand that you are trying to run a simulink model in newer MATLAB R2019a version which was created with an older MATLAB R2013a version. I assume that the model was saved in Restricted mode in MATLAB R2013a.
A similar issue can be found in the following answer:
Another possible workaround is suggested in the second 'Note' of the following documentation:
Hope this resolves the issue.
