Dicom 3D rendering with contrast

Hi, I am looking to render in 3D my dicom files stacked up in a matrix avoiding Patch, which actually destroys the contrast. I could see some program managing it, but I dont understand how.

Once I have a 3D matrix, how can I render it keeping the grayscale colors ?
