How to uninstall Embedded Coder Support Package for AUTOSAR Standard

When I try to update the Embedded Coder Support Package for AUTOSAR Standard to 18.2.8 from the "Add-ons >> Check for Updates >> Hardware Support Package", I'm getting below error in workspace.

There was a problem executing post-install actions for package with basecode EC_AUTOSAR

Caused by:

Error using autosar.spkg.preuninstall

Could not uninstall Embedded Coder Support Package for AUTOSAR Standard because it is

currently in use. Restart MATLAB before uninstalling the support package.

I have restarted matlab multiple times still getting the same error.

Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Hello Lakshmi,

I understand that you are unable to update the Embedded coder support package in your MATLAB installation. The error message indicates that some other piece of software has these files locked. Please try to manually remove the files from the root directory of the support package, reboot the computer and try the Update procedure again.
