Intel Optane as Ram

Hi community,

I have a question in regards to how Matlab treats Intel Optane Memory. Intel Optane Memory can be setup as Pmem in memory mode and the OS will treat it as system memory. If a workstation has 6x128GB Intel Optane and 12x 16GB regular DDR4 Ram, and I run a code that needs 96GB memory will the system give priority to the DDR4 Ram, or will it tap into the slower Optane persistent memory?
