syntax of matlab code

how can i trace or identify which matlab command / syntax is used in the script ?

I want to understand the script written in an example file, and so how can i understand it aby tracing / checking the syntax?

You can write-click on the name of the function and click open "Function name". It will take you to the corresponding function unless the function is overloaded. In which case, you can use which command to find out the complete list
