Check for Updates does not work in Matlab 2020a

I would like to update my Matlab version to Matlab 2020b. In order to do so, I click on Help -> Check for Updates and then it pops up the following message: "Matlab 2020a is up to date".
Do you know why it does not appear the newest Matlab version 2020b?

You cannot directly upgrade R2020a to a newer release. The only way is to download the installer and install it from scratch.

Here it explains how it can be done directly, without installing the new version from scratch.
This article is about updating MATLAB. Update and upgrade are two different things. Each MATLAB release has several updates before the next release. For example, R2020a had about five updates. The following article applies to the upgrading process: https://www.mathworks.com/help/install/ug/upgrade-matlab-release.html

Ameer Hamza, if download the 2020b, the previous version like 2020a will be automatically updated. Pleasue guide, i have the same issue.
No, each MATLAB release is installed separately and work independently of each other. If you install R2020b, the previous R2020a will remain the same. Either you can uninstall R2020a or keep using it along with R2020b. In any case, there is no effect on the new R2020b installation.
