Has anyone ever used the ARESLab toolbox?

Looking to use Matlab for MARS modeling, came accross this toolbox but I'm not sure of it's reliability. Have you used it or heard of it? What do you know about it? Are there any other toolboxes that you know of that support MARS modeling?

Ken, did you ever here anything? I am thinking about using the toolbox. One question I am trying to resolve is if the lack of a penalty for high cubic coefficients should be used. This is not implemented in the code. I ready somewhere that if you are doing non-linear models that this is very important. thanks.
