Property validation for a vector

How can I check that the property of a class is a vector?

This is what I have but it doesn't work:

    properties
        Col vector
    end

You can use mustBeVector validation function.

    properties
        Col {mustBeVector}
    end

I get the following error:

Error using implicit default value of property 'Col' of class 'Circulant':
Undefined function 'mustBeVector' for input arguments of type 'double'.

But my argument is clearly a vector:

A = [1;2;3;4]
C = Circulant(A)

Which MATLAB release are you using? It was introduced in R2020b.

I'm using R2019a, it says I can't update because I'm using the last version.

Updates are only valid for a single release. You need to upgrade a license to use a new release. Upgrades cannot be applied to current version. You need a fresh installation.
