I was considering buying the book "MATLAB-based Finite Element Programming in Electromagnetic Modeling" which can be found here:
However, I can't find any reviews online and I have one primary question I'd like answering and would like to hear from anyone who has purchased this book:
Given that MATLAB's meshing functions are limited to single objects or very simple combinations, what examples are used in the above book? Because I have a reasonable grasp of FEM and CEM but one thing I find difficult is using boundaries between objects that have different properties, i.e. a permanent magnet attached to a piece of iron floating in air or using the TOSCA formulation that requires splitting a simulation into separate domains - I can't see how there can be good examples of these sorts of problems using only MATLAB's simple meshing.
Any guidance would be very useful, thanks.
