Adaptive DoE in matlab - help!

I want to know how to do an adaptive DoE model in Matlab. Which toolbox should I use and how to start with that.

I am working in MBC toolbox for creating DoE and then modelling the data with its response taken by experiment. But now I have to go for Adaptive DoE which I should know how to do that through matlab. It is the adaptive identification of the region of interest in the high dimensional parameter space and creating DoE from that region of interest.

Because I'm not familiar with the MBC Toolbox, I still have no idea, what an "DoE" is. Therefore I assume, that I do not belong to the target audience of your question.
