May i know how to design the 3 phase converter for BLDC motor with Sinusoidal Commutation?

3 vues (au cours des 30 derniers jours)
I have designed a BLDC motor model with Hall Sensors using simulink. It is working perfect with Trapezoidal commutation, with perfect trapezoidal back emf but when i go for sinusoidal commutation, the Hall sensors seem not to detect the electrical angle sequences. I want to know how to generate the three phase input voltages for driving the sinusoidally commutated bldc motor.Presently i am going with sensing the electrical angle using hall sensors and changing the hall state at every 60 degrees and switching the corresponding switches, but this somehow doesn't seem to work. I suppose i have to work on something like using a PWM signal or something. Please help me out.

the mathematical equations of bldc motor were converted to simulink model

Can you please send me the simulink model of BLDC motor which you have simulated to the mail id - abhijithsinghs@gmail.com. It would be of great help. Thank you in advance.

when you go sinusoidal pwm its known as pmsm or pmac. it should be operated in 180 degree conduction mode.

Since it has been 6 month that this question was asked, presently there has been lot more progress in this work. However thanks for your reply. Need to get a little doubt clear....
The present model senses rotor position through encoder, generates the 2 sinusoid 120 degree phase difference, given to pwm generator whose output drives the inverter bridge.
Now the problem is, at no load condition, when the model is run, the total current in the winding is not zero. This doesn't happen when the back emf is not subtracted from the input supply voltage. But as soon as i subtract the back emf, model gives erroneous output.
The input voltage is supplied as phase to phase voltage i.e. Vab Vbc and Vca
