"Upsampling factor" in "Raised Cosine Transmit Filter" block

Hi,

A parameter "Upsampling factor" can be seen in the "Raised Cosine Transmit Filter" block and this one must be at least 2. I just can't understand why we need such a factor. I think there is only one clock in the circuit.
