Density maps based on the number of occurences

Hello dear all,

I'm trying to create a density map based on the ships distribution along the time in latitude and longitude coordinates.

I have a matrix with longitude, latitude and time (poisx time).

Based on this I would like to plot a map (like density maps or heat map) depending of the number of the ships in the area. I tried the following code but it was not what I was expecting: hist3([latitude(:), longitude(:)],[50 50],'CDataMode','auto')

Will it be possible for you to share the matrix with longitude, latitude and time.

Also, do you want to factor in the time while plotting the density graph.
