Change Data in an array with an GUI in running mode

Hey guys I´ve got a question. I want to trace GPS data. While my programm get these GPS data, I want to give them more Information about the street I am e.g. speed limits with a GUI. So I wanted to ask you: Can I trace the GPS data and give them additionally informtaion with my GUI at the same time? Thanks.
