unable to retrieve product

trying to install R2020b using the licesne given to me by my university. entered the username and password(tab on standard installation), entered the distination, when pressing next after that it says "unable to retrieve products"
Disabled antivirus
Disabled firewall
no specific proxy used
created two new enviroment variables
tried download with installation and download without installation, still no fix
I am using VPN because it appears i am in a country(SUDAN) that cant download from i think

what should i do?

Sudan is under various sanctions from the US State Department. I am not sure that Mathworks products are available in Sudan.
