Clustergram Standardize why ROW is the default value?

Dear all,

This is kind of silly question, but I wonder whether I'm missing something here.

If with tidy data columns are variables and rows are observations, why the default value for the 'Standardize' parameter of the clustergram object is 'ROW'?

Also, I don't understand why I have to set that parameter after I build the clustergram... for a reason I don't understand it doesn't work when calling the clustergram class... it remains with the default 'ROW' value this way.

Sorry for the wasted question... I misunderstood the 'row' thing. I got it now.
