using excel spread sheet in matlab and then applying bayesian classsifier

i have spread sheet containing numerical and descriptive data and now i want to classify the data using Bayesian so how could i...kindly tell me the tutorial related to that or help me with the answer..... please give me example of how to use FIT command and other two commands in statistical toolbox(Bayesian classifier ) in mat-lab.....
