Connect to Sonoff bridge and temperature sensor

Hi, before I define a channel in ThingSpeak to receive data from ny new Sonoff temperature sensor I suppose I need to give MathWorks access to my wi-fi, http. IP etc. Can anyonw explain how this is done.
