Videoreader/initreader line 734 cant read MPEG2 files

Hello,

I have a copy of MATLABs 2020a and for some reason i get the following error when trying to view MPEG2 files in matlabs:

Error using VideoReader/initReader (line 734)

Unable to determine the required codec.

Error in audiovideo.internal.IVideoReader (line 136)

initReader(obj, fileName, currentTime);

Error in VideoReader (line 104)

The computer was re imaged to 1803 and started with a fresh image and a fresh install of MATLABs 2020a is there a way to find which codec is missing and just adding that to the computer? or is there a simpler way to fix this?

the computer is government property located on a military installation so adding software (mediaplayercodecpack, vlc player, k-lite basic) from the internet is highly impossible unless the software is approved by the DOD
