convolution in matlab - matrix dimesnions different

I want convolute two matrices
First matrix, A=[1 2 3...........8000]. Second matrix B=[1 2 3 4 5] I'm unable to do this with conv function......please let me know how to do this.

Did you try it?
A = 1:8000;
B = 1:5;
C = conv(A, B);
Seems pretty straightforward. What was the difficulty you had?

No, you didn't try that. Because I know for a fact that that works, as long as you didn't redefine conv to be a variable or custom function, thus destroying the built-in conv(). You tried something else but didn't show us what your code was or what your error message was. Please paste your code and all the red text from the error message. Don't leave anything out.
