Doubt related to Simulink

I was modeling a fuel cell on MATLAB-Simulink. I used a YouTube video as a reference where they used the above functions as an input to the Fcn block on Simulink. These Fcn blocks govern the flow rate of air and fuel. Can you explain how exactly do we get this function (as shown in the image) ? Which is the equation used? What is the significance of each term in the function?

please use the matlab function block instead, and see the documentation here for how to program it: https://www.mathworks.com/help/simulink/slref/matlabfunction.html
