An late update during a year includes all previous updates of this year?

I just installed MATLAB 2020b update 5.
However, I missed to install previous updates of 2020b (i.e. updates 1-4).
Does in this case the update 5 includes updates 1-4, or should install them manually? (and, in the latter case, the update order matters? i.e. is it a problem installing update 5 before updates 1-4?)

The updates are cummulative: Update 5 includes the 4 previous updates also.
