I want to install 32 bit matlab in 64 bit windows 7

Please someone suggest me, Which matlab version I should use? Can i compile c files with it. I usually do image processing, Simulink algorithm debugging, matlab seriel communication, GUI applications. Will i get any problem of doing these things ?

You can install a modern Matlab/32 version under Windows/64. I had troubles with the standard folder name due to the parenthesis in "(86)". But this could be solved easily using another folder "C:\Program_86\..." instead.
But due to the limited memory access in a 32 bit program, I'd prefer the 64 bit versions, if your computer has or will have more than 3GB RAM. You can install a commercial or free compiler from MSVC to compile C-files. Sometimes there are some troubles with the setup of the compiler, but this concerns all versions of Matlab and compilers.
I have installed a 32 and 64 bit version in parallel for testing, but I use the 64 bit version for productive work.

I do not like to be pushed by email. I post answers when I find the time and I answer in the forum, because other people can profit form the solution also.
