saveas figure containing modified data tips in data cursor

I have a piece of code in which I modify the data tips that can be visualized with the data cursor. Everything works fine, i.e. the figure in the GUI shows the new data tips that I have added, but when I save the figure with the command saveas(), the saved picture does not show the new data tips in the data cursor. Is a fault in the saveas command? Is there anything that I have missed?

Here is the piece of code that I currently use:

figA=figure('name','Test');                                                               
h=plot(....);                                                                  
addTagCursor(h,...);
hold on
h=plot(...);
addTagCursor(h,...);
saveas(figA, myfolder);
