Using AppDesigner with Matlab R2019a?

I would like to use AppDesigner R2019a to create dropdown or menu options for producing customized test coverage.

I'm using R2019a. I was not able to locate the examples for R2019a.

Here is a link to the release-specific documentation examples for R2019a.

Click on the "View MATLAB Command" or "Try in MATLAB" option on the page and copy the code that appears. Paste that into your command window to open the example in MATLAB.
