Debug MEX using Xcode on an M1 MacBook

Hello,
I'm trying to get debugging working for my MEX files using XCode. I've followed this tutorial:
However, when attaching (even before I run my mex file), XCode throws a break point on: MCR Interpreter thread (see image).
  • Is this related to Rosetta?
  • Is there a work around?

Just hit continue? This is just a breakpoint.

I did, but after 100 continues I'm still in the same breakpoint.

Try to disable all the break points first? Click that blue button close to the bottom of the editor.

it still stops at the same point. I can continue, but nothing really changes.

I don't have a M1 macBook. Need to check if I can get a test env somewhere.

Hi,
unfortunately, this still does not work, but with a different error:
Java: Java2D Queue Flusher (69): EXC_BAD_ACCESS (code=1, address=0x8)
will this be fixed soon?
