continue debug (dbcont) from a gui callback

Hi,

I have a figure in which I plot a vector

a=figure;plot(b)

Next, I place a pushbutton into this figure, with the callback function 'dbcont'

c=uicontrol('style','push','string','Continue','callback','dbcont');

What I'm trying to do, is to continue my debug process from that figure/GUI. However, nothing happens.

I'm aware of different workspaces, and have therefore tried switching them and calling 'dbcont' in all possible combinations with

eval, evalc, feval, evalin, dbup, dbdown

Unfortunately, to no avail. All I want to do is continue my script execution until the next breakpoint.

Any hints will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Mat,

I had the same issue today, and found this:

com.mathworks.mlservices.MLExecuteServices.consoleEval('dbcont')

Worked like a charm for me.
