How can i use the linear interpolation?

Hi!

I need some help about my resampling task. I would like to make up for the non-existent samples with linear interpolation. For example: I have the C and D notes, but missing the C# and I'd like to create it with higher playing. Somebody can explain me how can i use interpolation?

Some of the musicians about us remember, that C# is not the linearly interpolated value between C and D.

C  = 261.63Hz
C# = 277.18Hz   % Not 277.51 !!
D  = 293.66Hz

But if you really want to do this, post the format you store the known frequencies in. We cannot guess this detail. Afterwards interp1 would be easy to apply, so if you have troubles with this command, please post, what you have tried and which troubles you got.

Well, i don't really understand how should i use it. I have an organ sample library. The sample rate is 48kHz for all. I would like to make the C# note from the C. I'd like to know how should i use the interpolation to reach that.Could u explain it with a little example or something?
