how to keep the x-axis as constant numbers in discrete wavelet transform for ten level decompositions?

if the frequency is 1khz for the first level it will split into 0.5khz and 0.5 khz from low pass filter and high pass filter for second level 0.5 khz from the detailed signal once again it wil split into 0.25khz and 0.25 khz and goes on.............. if we use wavedec command in matlab to see the signal the time access is changing .
