MacBook Big Sur "Matlab would like to access files in your XXX floder"

Every time I open Matlab I get millions of these pop-ups.

I have already granted access to Matlab in the Privacy tab.

Go to your System Preferences->Seucrity & Privacy->Files and Folders, grant access to this matlab App.

I have all of these granted and am still getting constant popups.
