Urgent!!!! Problem displaying .hdr file

Hi, I am trying to display .hdr file using hdrread function ,but I am getting 'Not a radiance file ' error.I even tried analyze75info and analyze75read commands.But when i display using imshow,i get the following error "Error using imageDisplayValidateParams Expected input number 1, I, to be one of these types:

double, single, uint8, uint16, uint32, uint64, int8, int16, int32, int64, logical

Instead its type was struct."
