memory error

Hi! Is it possible to use "to much memory" while running a matlab program without an error message? I'm running a program that calculates the mean value from real-time data and plots it. When the parameters changes to much at the same time the plot freeze and matlab aint responding to any commands and the only way to make it work is to use ctrl+alt+del. Anyone that's familiar whith this type of error and has a solution for it? BR Johan

Yes, it is possible to use "too much memory" without getting an error message. When the memory requirements get very large, MATLAB will start to use virtual memory, and all the processing will slow down.
Try searching "matlab virtual memory" for hints here about memory issues. Here is one I found:
