Problem 489. Bang Bang in Bangalore

The most obvious symptom: the affected individuals say "bang" for "bang-bang" and vice versa.
Example
The following sample should help understanding their problem more clearly. A native utterance by an affected person:
'Bang Raja-bang#@om uttam%$# bang-bang swamy&^%$'
The corrected version should actually be:
'Bang-bang Raja-bang#@om uttam%$# bang swamy&^%$'.
Please correct the given string accordingly.

The creator of this problem might have indeed banged his head, which has affected his ability to think properly. I wish such stupid and meaningless problems stop showing up on Cody.
I admit that the time I'll spend on correcting the text of sufferers of Bangolangosis is small, but what I learned about regexprep from solving this problem will surely help me in other applications.
I disagree with Jafar's assessment: I thought this was a pretty funny problem.
