Data retention duration on ThingSpeak

Dear Community, I using the free/community edition and I would like to know how long my data will remain accessible/stored in ThingSpeak.
I'm planning to store data for many years. Before making this a reality, I would like to be sure I have selected the correct plaform.

- Free users are limited to 10 million messages (3+ years at minimum update interval)
- Paid users are limited to 100 million messages per unit (3+ years at minimum update interval)
- If storage is exceeded, your channels may no longer be able to receive data
- Long term archiving of data for paid customers is available. Email thingspeak-sales@mathworks.com for options.
According the the current policy, free users can store up to 10 million messages before we will delete your data, assuming your account is active.
You can also download your channel data at any time using the read data API, in MATLAB (ThingSpeakRead) or the web interface for channel data export.
