Update to the DHT22 sensor library to allow all the sensors supported by the underlying Adafruit DHT Libraries: DHT11, DHT12, DHT21, DHT22, AM2301
*In order to use this library in MATLAB, the Adafruit DHT library must also be installed in the Arduino
1. Find the location of the Arduino IDE by typing in the command window
arduinoio.IDERoot
eg. >> 'C:\ProgramData\MATLAB\SupportPackages\R2021b\aIDE'
2. Navigate to this folder and launch Arduino
3. Go to Tools->Manage Libraries. Search for and install 'DHT sensor library' by Adafruit
