This code demonstrates using the least mean squares (LMS) algorithm to perform equalization in a communication system. The code generates a QAM-modulated signal, applies a channel impulse response, adds noise, and performs LMS equalization to recover the original signal. Equalization is a technique used to mitigate the effects of inter-symbol interference (ISI) caused by the communication channel. In this case, the LMS algorithm adaptively adjusts the coefficients of an equalizer to minimize the mean square error between the transmitted and equalized signals.
