ReqIf Validation

Getting started

Brief description

The principal aim of this tool is to streamline the validation of ReqIF™ files as and when required. The validation protocol ascertains the compatibility of each ReqIF file with the Requirements Toolbox™ editor's specifications. A ReqIF that successfully navigates this validation protocol is considered to be in compliance and is thus eligible for seamless integration with the Requirements Toolbox editor. Additionally, this tool serves a critical role in the examination of ReqIF files, identifying any instances of redundant requirements or the presence of null schemas, among other pertinent analyses.

Process to run the script

1.Create a folder.

2.Paste this script and reqIf to validate.

3.Paste the mapping file in same folder or make sure default mapping file is in "matlab\toolbox\slrequirements\slrequirements\attribute_maps".

4.Run the script with name of reqIf and custom mapping file as argument to the script. If no mapping file is provided then, please make sure default mapping file as mentioned in step 3 is present.
