This code proposes an enhanced variant of AOA incorporated with spiral search for enhanced exploration and gradient search for improved exploitation, namely the Gradient Spiral Mathematical Optimization Algorithm (GSMOA). These enhancements can help GSMOA overcome the limitations of the traditional AOA by preventing stagnation in local optima by broadening the search space early on and improving the solutions later. The paper is still under review in scientific reports.
