Nicholas Kottenstette

I am the R&D Fellow at Corindus, A Siemens Healthineers Company in which I am championing a model-based approach for developing next-generation systems for vascular robotic interventions. https://www.mathworks.com/company/mathworks-stories/long-distance-robotic-surgery-telemedicine.html I am a senior member of IEEE and hold an MS from the Mechanical Engineering Department at MIT and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Notre Dame. My research develops constructive resilient networked control principles for Cyber-Physical Systems. The principles I've developed apply to non-linear affine systems, including fixed-wing aircraft, quadrotor aircraft, robotic, thermal, semiconductor manufacturing, alternative energy generation, digital signal processing, and suspension systems. I am the author or co-author of over 50 publications, including 14 US patents.
